Hello -
I have an odd issue. No matter if it is a new or existing workbook my insert and delete row/column options are greyed out. The workbook is not protected as this happens for even brand new ones as well. I have searched and cannot locate a solution.

Just solved my own issue.
Had to delete the \Office\15.0\Excel\Options via regedit.
Problem resolved.
The Quick tool bar access item does not work. Ever since I upgraded and the system applied patches my MS office tools have all become challenges to use for all; docs and spreadsheets. Constantly have to fix the applications through control panel.
This was my workaround. Originally, I had copied a column from another workbook. Some sort of code from this grayed out the insert cell options.
I simply copied the columns I wanted to compare into another blank workbook and the insert cells was offered again.
Once I manage my data, I'll copy back into the original.
Not sure if you've sorted this or not, but my insert cells right or down shade out if my work book is part of a network, as other people in the office use the work book it has to be shared and via our network, but as soon as I take it off the network the options are available again?? I don't know yet how to get around this.
Tried this. Didn't work for me, either.
