Excel 2013 Insert and Delete (column/row) grayed out for all workbook

Hello -

I have an odd issue.   No matter if it is a new or existing workbook my insert and delete row/column options are greyed out.   The workbook is not protected as this happens for even brand new ones as well.  I have searched and cannot locate a solution.

Just solved my own issue.

Had to delete the \Office\15.0\Excel\Options via regedit.

Problem resolved.

    Hi,

    I had the same problem today.

    You simply need to close Excel, then navigate to "%appdata%\Microsoft\Excel" in Windows explorer and rename Excel15.xlb to Excel15.old, and finally restart Excel and the problem should be fixed.

    lol. It was just soooo much easier to do it this way:

    1. Go to Quick Access Toolbar/right click the button which is creating problem/Remove from quick Access toolbar
    2. Now go to HOME | CELLS | click drop down of INSERT/right click on Insert Sheet Rows/Add to quick access toolbar
    3. Same way include other buttons in Quick Access Toolbar.
