I am getting the error, “Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. 30088-4” when trying to install Office 2013. What should I do?

Something went wrong. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Go online for additional help. Error Code 30088-4

Use this article to remove Office and then try installing it again.

    It worked, and yes, make sure to have the key for your original purchase of office.

    I can't believe the developers did not test the window upgrade and made a huge mistake of disabling MS Office...  It is a software defect that can hurt Microsoft business in the long run.

    I found it that I had to reconnect to my Microsoft account in order to get Microsoft Office back. So simply slide to your options, click search, type Microsoft Office login.

    Login into your account again and it places your Microsoft Office shortcuts back.  Do not uninstall, I almost did that & it is not the solution.
