Hello,
Word, Excel and Powerpoint 2013 offer the new "Start Page" when launching the program. When clicking on a supplied template to open it, the process fails and gives the error message - "Something went wrong while downloading your template". We had the same issue with online templates in Office 2010. Has anyone had this same issue and is there a fix for it? We use Sophos Endpoint Security for anti-virus. Thanks.

If you try downloading the template manually from http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/?CTT=97, does that work?

The problem is with Visio Viewer.

what if we dont have visio? i have the office plus 2013. i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. no fix
If the problem is limited to getting additional templates via File | New, you could always download from the Office site instead. Go to https://templates.office.com/.
