What replaces office picture manager in office 2013?

The Office Picture Manager has been a very quick and easy tool to use, built into Office and readily available no matter what machine I have to use.  I would rather not have to install 3rd party software to do what MS has made easy to do in the past.

Any word on what this app is called now and where it's hidden in the Office 2013 install?

Hey John,

You are correct that Office Picture Manager was removed from the suite. Inside programs such as PowerPoint and Word there are still editing tools. You also have Windows Live Photo Gallery which I feel is a much more program specific picture editing tool. Hopefully the small change does not effect your trial of the Next Microsoft Office.

Microsoft, you continue to fix what is not broken. As I learn (and support) your 2013 product range, there are definite improvements here and there but some of your decisions really do defy belief and this is just another. I have always been a huge MS supporter and had your back but you are making my argument harder and harder.

What I cannot understand is why MS will not let people who purchased MS Office 2013 and download of picture manager?? How hard can that be for MS to do... keep your customers happy..

i have installed office 2013 and from office 2010 i have installed only picture manager it works fine for me with office 2013. great.

Thanks for this, but unfortunately I do no have access to an Office 2010 suite. I purchased Office 2013 after no longer having access to Office 2003 from my previous employer. Perhaps Microsoft could make the Picture Manager from Office 2010 available as a download for Office 2013 users? Please consider this.
