Publisher 2013 - Print and PDF Quality issue for embedded Excel.

When I print or export to a PDF, the embedded Excel documents in my Publisher 2013 document do not have crisp, clear text. However exactly the same document under Office 2010 they look and print fine. I have an example of a PDF created from the same Publisher document, one in 2010 (on the left), one in 2013 (on the right) which I have uploaded that clearly demonstrate the issue. Is this a known bug, or a font issue with Office 2013? I work at a University where we have an enterprise licence for Office 2013 so are only just considering to roll it out to staff currently, but if this is an issue we will have to wait for a fix.

    I just wish there was a clear way to alert Microsoft to this issue. For those of us who routinely use embedded Excel documents in Publisher this issue makes Publisher 2013 completely unfit for use. Yet even though a fair few people have reported the problem on forums like this we have no way to know if Microsoft is aware that it is an issue or if they do if they plan to resolve it.

    Parch Tuesday has just passsed. I've not yet seen if Publisher has been patched but plan to check later today and see if it has been fixed. I also keep meaning to check if other embedded documents (Word, PowerPoint etc) also have the same really poor quality as with Excel documents but so far haven't remembered to check. Note to self, will do this later today as well.

    Today I installed updates, but there's nothing for Publisher.  ;(

    May be that need to fix some registry key to enable display of high-quality Excel objects in Publisher?
