I am trying to install MS Office 13 in my new HP computer(WIN8), I uninstalled office 365 but getting this error while trying to install 64-bit MS Office "Office 15 click-to-Run" Extensibility Component" I delete the KEYS in regedit as suggested by users in internet and partially remove the directory in Program Files, Still getting the same error. I have Window8. I am not able to delete folder completely "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15"

Help will be appreciated.

It works very well. Thanks a lot Kevin. I blame Microsoft for these type of bullshits. There are heaps of such bullshits all over their products still no solutions.

    Found a fix!!

    1. install System Ninja (http://download.cnet.com/System-Ninja/3000-18512_4-75212387.html)
    2. Click System Tools
    3. App uninstaller
    4. Select "Office 15 click -to-run (there are two files, i deleted them both)
    5. On the right hand side hit "Uninstall Program(s)"
    6. Think to yourself, Man that guy was awesome and click the "Me Too" button(optional)

    I hope this helps ^.^
