For what it's worth, Ctrl+SpaceBar clears direct character formatting, and Ctrl+Q clears direct paragraph formatting applied to text.
In other words, it seems as if some sort of character formatting was applied to your text.
It does remove the highlighting but then it removes all other formatting. So then I have to reformat all the text that the highlighting removed. Its pretty much work.
Cant you just remove the highlighting without removing all the other text formatting.
There should be a way and the way said in your other thing of highlighting just by clicking on no highlight does not work either.
Is there something wrong with Windows Word 2010
