Error message: Word cannot start the converter mswrd632.wpc. How can I correct?

This error shows up when I try to open certain Word documents using the .doc extension.

    I experienced this error as well. I opened the document in Notepad and found the file format was .pdf. The original document had been converted to a .pdf, but saved the .doc extension when naming the file. To fix, I renamed the file with the correct extension.

    Hello Sir,

    We are unable to open our MS office 2007 files Excel & word. The following error showing.

    "Word cannot start the converter mswrd632"

    I changed registry entries as suggested above by you. NOw I am able to open the files but content is showing corrupted / Machine language. Can you suggest me further how to do.
