How can I remove the blank page after section break?

Don't want blank page between different sections in draft document ("next page" section breaks). Tried hiding and tried changing paragraph symbol font size to 1. Still getting blank page. UGH!

Under certain circumstances, the section break, or actually the blank paragraph containing the section break, may cause an extra page (this might happen below a table, for example). Formatting it as 1 pt font size, exact line spacing 1 pt, zero spacing before/after should fix it. You may also want to format it as hidden text. In fact, you can create a paragraph style with those characteristics and apply it to the empty paragraph in question.

    Forgive me.  I thought we were discussing Word 2007.

    I followed your link, this is NUTS.  There is no way any software vendor could let something get by with this kind of a problem.

    There has got to be a simpler way when I have to deliver my document in 30 minutes?

    I have

    Text

    Horizontal Line (Section Break)

    Then way down here I have the rest of my document.  The space between this and the horizontal line is untouchable.  Like I said NUTS.

    I just found the bug in my document: apparently, the logo on the first page (which doesn't appear on the second page), made that all the margins changed when printing. So by changing the text wrapping  of the logo, my problem is solved
