How can I remove the blank page after section break?

Don't want blank page between different sections in draft document ("next page" section breaks). Tried hiding and tried changing paragraph symbol font size to 1. Still getting blank page. UGH!

Under certain circumstances, the section break, or actually the blank paragraph containing the section break, may cause an extra page (this might happen below a table, for example). Formatting it as 1 pt font size, exact line spacing 1 pt, zero spacing before/after should fix it. You may also want to format it as hidden text. In fact, you can create a paragraph style with those characteristics and apply it to the empty paragraph in question.

    Same problem here. However, Word doesn't insert a whole blank page, it just pushes my text down to the half of the page.

    I've tried continuous section break and next page, nothing worked.

    My document contains a cover page first, than a section, than there are 2 pages with a table. It's between the cover page and the 2nd that the problem exists

    Unfortunately I need to use Odd/even since there is a header with a logo and page number wich has to be different on the odd and even pages.

    It seems to me that the post to which you are replying provides an explanation and a helpful reference. It appears that your section break is an Odd Page break. If you are restarting numbering at 1 in Section 2, then Word will insist on an Odd Page break because page 1 is an odd page.
