Everytime I try to open office 2007, it keeps re-installing the software and takes a good while before it opens.
This happens for all programs in the suite; excel, word...etc. I am using Vista, can anyone please help?

As administrator I can run all office 2007 applcations fine. BUT the rest of the family as non-administators have to wait to go through the INSALL and CONFIGURING OFFICE ENTERPRISE process each time.
I gave them administrator permission on USER ACCOUNTS and that solved the problem. HOWEVER I do not want to leave them with administrator permission. I took it back off hoping some settings might have been established for them butthey are back to waiting for confirguration etc.
Surely there is a solution. I do not want to switch off UAC.
Please help!
I have Vista 64bit. I was running Office 2010 Beta, which was running perfectly. After the expiration, I bought the full version. After uninstalling Beta, and installing the new Office the programs kept trying to reconfigure themselves. Not just Word, the entire office suite. I also noticed that if I ran the program as Administrator, it did not try to configure it self; but I could also not print.
How I fixed my office problem:
1-Downloaded and installed the trial version of Revo Uninstaller Pro. www.revouninstallerpro.com
2-With Revo, uninstalled ALL the Office software. I did the Advanced scan and got rid ofeverything . Don't forget to check the Auto-Run Manager for left over Office files.
3-Reboot
4-Downloaded TRIAL Office 2010 software, and installed.
5-Opened one of the programs, entered the purchased serial number, and activated.
6-Is now running smooth again.

I turned off "User Account Control (UAC), rebooted, and all the programs started working fine.
Go to Control Panel, then User Account, then User Account again, then Turn Off the User Account Control.

i am having the same problem - with just one computer - have used the disk on 2 others with no problem. we are using windows7 64bit. there is no trace of anything microsoft - other than 2010 and in the program files-microsoft- office 14 - so i dont have anything lower than that....any suggestions?
