Office Keeps Re-Installing When I Try To Open Word, Excel...etc.

Everytime  I try to open office 2007, it keeps re-installing the software and takes a good while before it opens. 

This happens for all programs in the suite; excel, word...etc.  I am using Vista, can anyone please help?

Download, install and run the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility:

    Were you able to resolve this? I have reinstalled mine about 4 times, in fact a reset the factory settings in my PC and no luck.

    Hey Carey,

    What I did was remove Office Completely off my computer.  I will install the download you recommend then re-install the program.  Hopefully this works.  If you think I'm not going about it correctly, please let me know. Otherwise, I will let you know if it works.

    I have exactly the same problem and have tried the actions suggested here with no joy.  Next steps may to to start again reinstaling Vista and then Office , this is a small problem but very very annoying as one sees it many times a day.

    Any suggestions guys ?

    Hey Carey,

    I did download the correct file, but still no luck.  I did diagnostics and still no luck.  This is soOOo frustrating!  Thanks for all your help with all.

    Don't know what next to do:(
