Hello all,

I just purchased a new computer and want to transfer my Microsoft Office license to the new computer. How do I do that? Can someone send me step-by-step instructions?

Thanks in advance for all the help.

Best regards

Pablo

Yes finding this info is searching for a needle in a haystack.

Convert a trial version of an Office 2010 suite or program to a full retail version -https://office.microsoft.com/en-us/project-help/convert-a-trial-version-of-an-office-2010-suite-or-program-to-a-full-retail-version-HA101886436.aspx#_Toc263312406

The activation process keeps track of number of times you have used a product key. If this is your 4th installation you may get message saying you can't use this product key. Make sure you uninstall from one of the other machines. If it won't allow you to activate, you will have to do a phone activation and tell the service rep that you have uninstalled from one of the previous machines.

Before you do anything else, if you do not have the Product Key download Belarc Advisor  This will give you your Product Key.  Then depending on whether you have Office that can be installed on more than one device!  If your office 2010 is for one computer only then you will need to uninstall it from your old computer before installing it on your new computer. If you do not have the disc you can download Office 2010 from HERE
