I get the following message when i try to open a word document that i desperately need
The name in the end tag of the element must match the element type in the start tag
Location: Part: word/document.xml, Line: 2, Column: 96760
I know how to "unzip" the docx files and get to the main document.xml file, but i know nothing about xml programming. Any suggestions? i got an xml editor and found that there are 6 mismatch errors, but i don't know how to fix them. I also don't know how to rezip al the files back into a docx format. I would love any help. Thanks.

This document has problems of a kind I have only started seeing this year. I have already passed the others on to Microsoft and, if you are happy for me to do so I will pass this on as well.
The contents do not seem to be properly compressed and some images are corrupt. I have fixed the file so that it can be opened and it appears correct (to me) in Word 2010. If you open it in Word 2007 (or earlier version with the compatibility pack, I presume, but haven't checked) there are four images missing - I have added some explanatory text in their place but you might want to replace those images in Word 2010, in the hope that it correctly adds ones that can be seen in earlier versions.
