IMAP is not allowing the email to flow from Spectrum.net to Outlook on my iphone since Spectrum eliminated the webmail portal this past week.

I have 2 spectrum email accounts, i..e. ending in @charter.net. Until February 24, 2025, I was able to send and receive my charter.net emails on my HP computer using the Outlook software, but on that date the sending and receiving of emails in Outlook stopped. I am able to send and receive all emails on my iphone using the apple email software AND through the Spectrum.net site. After speaking with Spectrum tech, I was left with the message that "Outlook did an update that created connection problems for charter.net emails and that I would have to wait until Spectrum and Outlook worked things out. I could continue using the Spectrum.net site or get another email service to load on my computer." I don't know who is at fault or what is the cause, but I would like to have either or both companies, both of which I am paying, to inform me of what the problems are and whether they will fix it. For tech genuises, they are communication dunces.

Same issue for me - stopped working early February for one IMAP account, and now seems to have disabled my other IMAP account. Chatting Spectrum yielded the same response many here received - they suggested I use their webmail only and IMAP is no longer supported. I find that hard to believe, but I'm definitely looking to disassociate my accounts with any ISP email addresses go-forward - should have done it a LONG time ago...

Spectrum's web interface is ungodly slow...basically unusable. Sure hope this gets fixed soon, but if not, I'll be monitoring emails on their web application until I can complete the switchover!

Had the same experience with windows 11 and new outlook. Spectrum blames Microsoft. Microsoft blames spectrum. Chat with Microsoft 1 hour wasted. On phone with Dell support 1 1/2 hour, at least their tech tried to resolve the problem, but no solution found. Dell even got on chat with Microsoft. Microsoft and Spectrum are 2 companies who should not be in business, as they only raise fees and provide no support or solutions for their customers.

I stopped receiving emails 3 days ago on Outlook but was still getting them on Spectrum which is my internet provider. I had this problem several years ago and it was because my Spectrum mailbox was full. This was not the case this time. I called Spectrum twice and spoke over an hour to two different people and went over several procedures; then, I looked up several Microsoft recommendations. I was so frustrated at the end of it all that I called my son who is very good with computers. He walked through me several steps, including the different ports to see if they were compatible (same as the reps did) and we went through some other steps. Then he asked me to check to see if I was working "Offline". I said I never do. There on the very bottom of my Outlook account in very little print it said I was working offline. Somehow, I accidently clicked that button but neither one of the two reps asked me to check that. I unclicked it and suddenly I received all my previous emails. Hurray for my wonderful son. Posting this in case there are some "non-techy" people like me around.
