My outlook stop receiving emails nor can I send emails from outlook. There is no error message from Outlook stating why it's not syncing.

I've checked gmail acct, IMAP is enabled.

I've logged out of Outlook and re-link my gmail acct to outlook, didn't work.

I've uninstalled the new Outlook and set everything up, still didn't work.

This is the new Outlook version that i'm working with. It stopped working yesterday at 3:30pm. Everything was working fine then suddenly I couldn't send an email then noticed no new emails were coming in.

I looked at many responses and one reply suggested removing the Gmail accounts from all devices. For me that was Windows 11 with new Outlook, Iphone, and IPad. I cycled everything and then added back to Windows 11 with new Outlook and it is working.

Had same Outlook problem. Multiple Gmail accounts on multiple computers. Happily everything is working now, even though I did not mess with Outlook at all. Since email is critical, and apparently Microsoft can't be relied on, now have both web based Gmail & Thunderbird as backups.

P.S. On closer inspection, Outlook on some accounts is many emails behind what's being shown in Thunderbird.

For those of us with gmail accounts on our iPhones, do we have to delete there too? I’m not using the Outlook app but use the delivered iPhone mail app.

I’d previously deleted Gmail from the Outlook on my laptop, and it didn’t work. That was Thursday of last week

I deleted the gmail account from all devices and then add it again and it worked.
