Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks this unwanted 'draft with Co-pilot' is totally unacceptable. I would also add the banner which appears across the top of EVERY email offering a 'Summary by Copilot' to the list of unwanted junk - I don't need or want that either.
I am absolutely sick of the way Microsoft behaves now. They've just hiked the monthly subscription charge, apparently to pay for all this new functionality which nobody asked for and most people don't want. As if that wasn't annoying enough, they make it impossible to turn off all this useless junk which increasingly gets in the way of actually doing anything.
What we really need is a simple option in the subscription settings to 'turn off all Copilot options and functionality'. I simply don't want it - it is utter dross and has now reached the point of being so intrusive that it's actively geting in the way. At least with business accounts it's possible to turn off some of this, albeit often with a lot of hassle (I am a system admin so have to deal with this too), but for home subscriptions there is seemingly no ability to control anything much.
I am seriously considering moving to another email provider and installing Libre Office / Thunderbird as it seems to be the only way to avoid being bombarded with whatever junk Microsoft wants to force on us this week.
