How to remove the unverified sender message?

Hi,

I keep getting an 'unverified sender' message in Outlook (desktop and web app). I've added the address to 'trusted sender' and I've whitelisted the domain but still keep getting it.

The sender is 'trusted' and a reputable domain.

Is there anything else I can do on my side or is it down to the sender?

Many thanks,

Charlie

Got it but isn't ARC Sealer feature the solution for your environment?

(note: I don't use it because mail flows directly into 365 hosting service)

And that's good for you. But we use a 3-party email management solution that monitors for this. When using this system we also manipulate message headers for some emails and when this is done it throws this flag within Office365. So for us, this is just noise and is not needed which is why we needed to turn it off.

If you aren't using a 3rd party system to monitor for spoofs, then leave it on, but Microsoft is punishing the users with noise versus dealing with the problem. Microsoft should not allow companies to send email unless their DMARC, SPF, DKIM is properly setup versus giving spam to people receiving an email.

There could have been a better way this was rolled out of even put into place but once again Microsoft crapped the bed.

I didn't respond to you. You can only turn it off if you subscribe to their 365 mail hosting service and you are the admin.

Thank you for the response. How did you turn it off? The e-mails that keep getting flagged are internal ones.
