I have emails appearing in my outbox as queued or drafts and showing up as sent in the new outlook app on Windows 10. Any suggestions?

I have recently had a lot of my emails show up in both the sent folder and then immediately after showing up in the outbox as queued or drafts. If I close the outlook app on my laptop and re-open it, the outbox becomes empty. I have tried looking up trouble shooting steps but none of the suggestions are options in the outlook app that I have.

    I'm currently experiencing this issue.

My emails are being delivered as I've tested with my team. However, every email I've sent today is still in my outbox labelled "Queued".

It's not affecting my ability to work, it's just really annoying.

    Hi everyone

I have a suggestion for something that appears to be helping manage this. If, once you've pressed send on an email, you don't do anything more in outlook until the email is sent, the email seems to actually send. This appears to work pretty much all the time that I've tried it over a month. It seems bizarre that this would have any impact, but I can only assume that activity in Outlook could be interfering with the send process.

I'd be grateful for those who'd be willing to verify that the same happens for them. We live in hope of solution, but this work around seems to offer me some relief.

Is there seriously no feedback from MS on how to fix this? I have this issue for months now on my Win11 machine with my enterprise account. All the standard approaches do not work.

MIne is a comcast account I have been using via Outlook for 12 years in a small business. The emails are not going out as of 2 hours ago. I have to redo a lot of work now as there was no indication they were not going out. I suddenly realized I was not getting new emails either and discovered the problem. Constant issues since switching to Windows 11. A new surprise every day

    Dear Nicole Feldman

Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community.

We have found that many people are experiencing the same problem. We are now gathering information about it as well.

Now we need to make sure that the antivirus software installed on the computer is not causing the interference because the port of the new Outlook is different from the port of the classic Outlook, which is the same as the port of the web-based version of Outlook, so we may need to troubleshoot if it's the three-party antivirus software that's causing the interference (if there is one).

You can try checking the settings of the three-party antivirus program to see if there is a section about email, but of course, it's best to uninstall the antivirus program first.

Also, if other users are experiencing the same problem, I would like users to provide information about the system version, the domain where the mailbox is configured, and the domain where the problem is occurring, which will help with troubleshooting.

I hope the above information can help you.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best wishes
