Am I hacked? (received an email from my own emailaddress)

Hi,

I received an email presumably send from my own emailaccount, subject 'You've been hacked' starting with

'I want to inform you about a very bad situation for you. However, you can benefit from it, if you will act wisеly. Have you heard of Pegasus? This is a spyware program that installs on computers and smartphones and allows hackers to monitor the activity of device owners. It provides access to your webcam, messengers, emails, call records, etc. It works well on Android, iOS, macOS and Windows. I guess, you already figured out where I’m getting at.'

Etc.

So the content of the email doesn't worry me, but what I can't understand is why the e-mail is send from my account. Or why it looks like it is send from my account. It doesn't show any other address.

When I check Source of the message, the following pops up, but this to me is jibberisch... Can anyone explain to me why it looks like I send this to myself and if I indeed been hacked or not?

    I received an email exactly like this in my spam folder. Header was "You've been hacked" and the first bit of content was "Hello, pervert..." I didn't open the email because it seriously freaked me out. It appeared to have been sent from my email and even had my email profile picture. I deleted it and checked my "sent" folder, and my Microsoft account hadn't sent anything like that, so I assume I wasn't actually hacked? I haven't clicked any odd links or gone to unusual websites. I hardly do anything but schoolwork on my computer. The one thing that confuses me is how they make the profile look like mine.

    I really hope Microsoft addresses this soon, especially if it's been going on for almost a half-year now. :/

    *I also couldn't find the email after deleting it, so I'm not sure what happened to it lol

    I just got the same type of email, looked up one of the IP's listed in the header that sent it and it said it is from Korea. I have two factor authentication, I check my status as to where I have logged in from frequently and nothing unusual there. I can tell this at least in my case that it is a fake email.

    One dead giveaway was the fact in the email they mention they used Pegasus to supposedly take control of my PC and that it works really great according to them on IOS, Android, MacOS, Windows. What they fail to realize though is I use Linux only, not Windows, Android, MacOS or IOS.

    The bad part is I can only delete it as it will not allow me to block it as they have spoofed my email address. Although it was marked as Junk.

    I just read an article where this news agency was warning people about this scam email. The email they showed in their report was word for word exactly the same one I got.

    I received the same email but I do find a lot of unusual activity and unsuccessful sign in, since I enabled the Microsoft authentication, I also received that confirm if it’s you who is signing in, I rejected those and changed my password immediately.. no use, still I received the above mentioned email with same sort of details , please help.. not sure how to make them stop

    Looking to the case it looks like e-mail spoofing, the SPF fails.
