How do I download the "Classic" version of Outlook to my computer?

How do I download the "Classic" version of Outlook to my computer? My web hosting service who also supports my email address does not support Microsoft's New cloud-based Outlook app and therefore I need to use the Classic version. I have already downloaded my Microsoft 365 applications to a new computer and cannot figure out how to revert back to Classic Outlook. Thank you for your help.

Is Outlook installed? Outlook.exe is here - you can use Windows key + R to open the Run command and paste the path, including the parenthesis in the run box then press Enter.

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE"

if you use 32-bit Office, it is here -

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE"

If Outlook is installed and new Outlook opens when you click the link, see Use Classic Outlook, not New Outlook (slipstick.com)

If it is not installed, you can download Outlook here: https://support.microsoft.com/office/you-can-t-open-classic-outlook-on-a-new-windows-pc-5c94902b-31a5-4274-abb0-b07f4661edf5

On most of my systems this works. However I had one - which was originally windows home preinstalled with office. It refused to run classic despite making the choice - the files were also not there. In the end I uninstalled office, and then installed from the latest download which then bought back the classic option.

If you'd like to get back the Classic Outlook (which currently isn't downloadable from Microsoft store), do the following:

In the new Outlook, go to the Help dropdown menu on the top left, and you will see an option to "Go to classic Outlook." It will switch you back to the classic version, which includes the old "Try the new Outlook" toggle in the upper right-hand corner if you change your mind and want to go back.
