    After trying unsuccessfully for two days to setup IMAP , I switched to the POP settings and wala! I now have spectrum mail in Outlook using the presets provided and my User Name and Password for Spectrum (nc.rr.com). Right wrong, secure? IDK IDC, I have convenient mail

    I was moved by spectrum to their service from Road Runner. I would like to move receiving email back to outlook from spectrum

    Don't be frustrated. Given the number of broadband internet provider and personal email services based on imap/smtp connectivity this affects i wouldn't foresee it being more than a few store update cycles of that outlook (new) before we have drop with imap server authentication issue resolved. If you want to use outlook (new) before then just configure email service connection to use the pop protocol port instead of the imap protocol port.

    I am using the same settings listed and in all of these responses. Getting the same error as everyone else. I can use my Classic Outlook but not the Windows 11 "New" and "Improved" version of the software. Very frustrating.
