How can I stop all the unauthorized login attempts from around the world?

I've had a huge increase of people trying to sign in to my email account the past few days. As in multiple attempts every hour, every day, from all of the world. I've had to change my password daily and I'm worried about my email getting hacked. Is there any extra security or anything else I can do other than the two factor authentication that can protect my email from being hacked. It's insane the amount of login attempts that are happening lately. Multiple attempts at the same time in different ends of the world. I've never had this happen before. Will it decrease eventually?

    Use the alias method described earlier to change to account used for logging in. Your original email will still work, but you'll log in with your new alias. Don't make the alias public. That will stop the attempts.

    If you're getting alerts of failure to login there is no point in changing your password as they haven't cracked your password (IMPORTANT assuming your password is complex, if not make sure you change it)

    To save you looking for how to do this, I'll re-iterate

    Click on "My Account"

    Click on My info (the head and shoulders symbol)

    scroll down, Click on Sign-in preferences bottom left in Account info pane

    add an alias mail if necessary, make it primary

    Then make sure you click on "change sign-in preferences" and disable the mails you don't want to be used for login, one of which will be the attempted login account.

    If you're forgetful you could have have 2 aliases that may be used for sign in, I prefer one (half the risk of hackers finding the new alias)

    You can still use your original email address, just not for login.

    Don't make the new email alias public or use it for anything on the internet.

    I am having the same problem. Although they seem to have known my security questions answers. I need to change those. How do we go about changing those. can someone please call the phone number associated with my account. I need a live agent please. Thanks, DTP
