How do you permanently turn off new outlook?

I don't like it, I don't want it, I am not going to switch to it, and I never want to see it again. For the longest time it would periodically switch to the new outlook, I would turn it off, and submit feedback stating the previous. Now it auto opens every single time. I do not ever want to see the new outlook again for the rest of my life. Do not make me switch to Mac or Linux or whatever because I am petty and will eventually become so disgruntled and delete everything Microsoft and never spend another dime on anything they make over something stupid. I want to know a way to permanently delete the new outlook off my system so it doesn't get to that point.

They removed 'New' and 'Classic' from the names in Settings > Default apps but the icon on the start menu is supposed to say classic. If not, you can copy the icon from

    %ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

    to

    %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

Outlook icon on the Start menu is not updated to Outlook (classic) - Microsoft Support

In Windows 11, I need to unpin from start then repin to get '(classic)' back.

I did uninstall the new outlook. It's not bothering me anymore. I got rid of it and all is well.

Thank you all for your help.

    Over and out now.

If by deleted you mean you used the toggle switch, you need to do something different.

Go to add or remove programs and uninstall it there.

Then the heavens will light up and the angels will sing!

Okay well, you will get back the old outlook
