This didn't fix it for me, this option was already enabled. The words have always been highlighted but we do not get suggestions when right clicking on a mispelled word. The only current work around for us on GCC government community cloud is to popout the email composition window. This then allows you to right click on a mispelled word to see suggestions.

None of these options are available to me. The Editor button does not exist and General -->Privacy and data does not have privacy settings only Suggested people and search history.

New Outlook is an absolute piece of garbage.

I DO NOT want MS analyzing my content. That is an invasion of privacy. Since I rejected that option, are you telling me that I cannot have a spell checker unless I permit you to see all of my stuff? And yes, I am aware that you probably do anyway, but I am NOT permitting you to do so. I hate the new Outlook and hate that I am forced to use something that is not user-friendly.

Many thanks for your help managed to get6it to work. Why is it so complicated I am 81 years of age.

I would have thought that the spell assist would have been set up automatically
