Thanks for your help. I appreciate it except I've already done all that. It does not show up. If you have been reading the other questions, many have the same issue. NOTHING is going on with my system, but I appreciate the thought of stone and chisel. Just so you know, I only have the spell check issue in Outlook. The quote "if it isn't broken don't fix it"... Also, as a side note, I have been using Hotmail/Outlook for 25 years........first time having an issue.

I hate this new Outlook, too. I do not have "Editor" anywhere. The old outlook was better. I think I might have to stop using it. Should I use thunderbird again? I might have to do some checking. I agree with you and everyone else. NEW OUTLOOK SUCKS!

Just open your Outlook email, click on the settings gear on the top right-hand side of the page (for new outlook)

    Settings page opens

click on left side for General

General window opens slide cursor to the right and click on Privacy and Data

    Open Privacy and Data

    Privacy and Data window opens

    Scroll down to Privacy settings

    Click Privacy settings

Scroll down to the bottom and slide button to on for "Experiences that analyze your content"

    Then click close

start a new email and write the wrong word and see if it works. I have gone directly to this setting multiple times to ensure it works. Not hard anymore.

There is NO editor to this. takes less than a minute to do.

Thanks Patrick! That worked for me too! Finally!

And for some reason, you now have to "left click" on a word to present the correct spelling options vs the previous "right clicking". What is up with MSFT?
