Hi, I'm running the new version of Outlook on Windows 11, and have connected to both my Uni (O365) and Gmail (Microsoft Cloud). O365 works fine, but the Gmail account doesn't sync read status back to gmail. I.e. outlook gets the correct read status from Gmail, and it syncs things like starring/flagging emails back to Gmail. But although I can mark things as read in Outlook, that status never syncs back to Gmail. The same is true on 3 different PCs, so it's not peculiar to one particular computer.
Any ideas?

One would think that MS could afford 10 minutes to inform us on this forum.
The email client is not syncing with Gmail. But Gmail is syncing with the email client just fine.
There was a build awhile back when everything was working great and then something changed.
Is anyone else still having this issue?

You should try their new Minesweeper... With all the ads they've stuffed into it, Control Panel tells me it eats up close to a Gb of RAM at some times... They probably have a bunch of ads and consumer profiling/monitoring features shoe-horned into the new Outlook as well, since they're offering it as a "free" product.
