Unable to send emails to Yahoo accounts

Starting a couple of days ago, I am unable to send emails to Yahoo accounts from my Outlook email. Here is the error message I receive:

Your message wasn't delivered. Despite repeated attempts to deliver your message, a connection to the remote server was closed abruptly.

Contact the recipient by some other means (by phone, for example) and ask them to tell their email admin that it appears that your email system is unable to connecto their email system. Give them the error details shown below. It's likely that the recipient's email admin is the only one who can fix this problem.

For Email Admins
This often indicates the recipient's firewall SMTP fixup setting or other firewall settings are preventing the SMTP protocol negotiation from succeeding.

    I am here volunteering my time without getting paid. I know the problem and solution because I'm a mail admin. What I don't appreciate is being called rude when I offer my free help. That's all. I won't hold back and/or apologize like many helpers here. I will talk back if I don't like something. You may report my reply if you don't like it. I don't really care if I get banned permanently.

    This problem requires someone who understand a bit of how email system works. It's ok if you don't understand it but you can't expect Microsoft (if they are your email host) to fix it... not because they don't want to help. It's because they can not help you even if they want to. Your option is either spend some time trying to understand the problem and solution or hire a professional IT. It's really not that difficult. I've helped many other users who have zero knowledge about this issue. They managed to fix the problem with the free guidance.

    Hi there,

    I am now leaving this thread. I wish you a fabulous day and year ahead, but I came onto this forum for help from people that would not be critical of me not understanding how to fix this problem.

    I have the same issue! I am unable to email to yahoo.com email accounts. I get an error message about 12 to 24 hours later. This has never happened before until recently. Can you help?
