New Outlook vs. Outlook in Microsoft 365

Friends.

Can anyone tell me when to use the Outlook in Microsoft 365 and when to use the new Outlook desktop app.

I have both installed on my computers - which I suppose is unnecessary. But I don't understand the difference?

Appreciate if someone can explain this!

    I'm an end user with no admin rights on my work pc. But I do have a personal pc and I concur with the above assessment of Geek Squad. Waste of your time and waste of your money on many issues.

    That what I should do cancel my suscripción too. There is no way or good answer . That’s where my money goes for nothing ..

    Log into your Microsoft account at https://account.microsoft.com/services and cancel the sub or set it to not auto renew. If you subscribed to a 1 year plan within the last 30 days, you might be able to get a refund, otherwise it will cancel when the subscription ends.

    If you are trying to sync iCloud calendar and contacts, use the iCloud addin in classic outlook. Or, if the iCloud address is an apple domain (me, iCloud, mac domains) they will sync with new outlook.

    As for geek squad, they know little to nothing about outlook… I often have to fix what they break.

    Please Please Please MS be clear with your product offerings, you are confusing people. I was looking to purchase a subscription to the new outlook desktop this one

    at the bottom of that page is the link to download the windows version. I am reading that 365 is different than the new outlook for windows. So please please provide a link to purchase a subscription to the new outlook for windows. All i see is 365 links and i dont want 365. Is there a paid version of the new outlook for windows (desktop)?

    Login to your Yahoo! account on a browser. Go to Account, Overview, Security, scroll down to Account Access, then other ways to sign in.

    For any non-Yahoo! app, Yahoo! generates the password for you. So generate a password for Outlook. Then you only use that password in Outlook.
