No spelling suggestions in the right-click menu (New Outlook for Windows)

I have this problem and can't go back to the old app as it just automatically opens in the new one with a note it won't let me go back soon. This one is missing a lot of functionality. This one is really irritating. Clicking on the word brings up nothing. and all the suggestions to go to FILE and Editor doesn't work as there is no FILE line like in the pictures and I have tried every search and setting to change that too. So right click gives you no options and clicking on the word gives me no options. Wish they had all the bugs out before they remove one app and replace it with one that doesn't work nearly as well.

Now, as to why it lost the spellcheck in the first place...

How extraordinary that such a basic requirement is buried deep in the bowels of the program.

Who would expect the Spellcheck would be consigned to Privacy.

Just nuts!!!!

Thanks for the reply. I think it has been a bad move to change this function as it was very useful the way it was before. I use the track pad taping instead of the mouse and I have not been able to find a way to use taps to do left click. I am sure I will eventually get used to this new feature but I think the new formatting options provided by the right click were already available easily using other key shortcuts and menu options. Correcting spelling is a very commonly used feature and in my case the change has not been useful.

I also think that some clear pre-notification of this change from Microsoft would have been useful to avoid the confusion. There is probably some document somewhere that tells us this was changed but it is not easily apparent.

I think Microsoft is forgetting that to make an application useful it needs to be simple to use.

Spell check is accessed by left click not right click.

The new Outlook (= the Windows Mail replacement) is different from Outlook (= the application which is part of Office) in this respect.
