How do I enable copy and paste in the new outlook? I am not able to directly copy any documents from Explorer and then go to the email that I am working on to paste onto the emial.

How do I enable copy and paste in the new outlook?

I am not able to directly copy any documents from Explorer and then go to the email that I am working on to paste onto the emial. Before with the Old Outlook I was able to to do this easily but the New Outlook requires me to go to the "paper clip" Icon above then search thru the Explorer to find the file then the specific documents(which couple be hundred documents); this process takes sometime 5 miniuets to find the exact document to copy and paste. I need to do it the Old Outlook ways or "Classic" format so that I can do just the cut and paste as mentioned earlier of this email. Pleas advise ASAP thanks.

    That is what happened to me and the older version was automatically deleted from my computer. After speaking with numerous Microsoft reps (posts), I was provided a link to install the deleted version of which I am using now. The issue for me is that the Outlook that I purchased years ago should function the same today as it did when I purchased it. Just because there is a "New and Improved (Junk)', does not permit the provider to change the operation of what I had already purchased (contract). The older version allows access to previous emails without accessing the internet (Privacy when traveling) not to mention drag and drop attachments along with the ability to copy emails onto an external drive and then being able to open and read them without opening Outlook.

    Good luck and hopefully we can ensure that New and Improved means additional functions not less.

    I've been avoiding installing the new version. Somehow, today, it got installed anyway. "Hate" is not too strong a word! I'm not enthused about the idea of taking the time to uninstall this version and try to find the one I was using earlier this morning. Maybe it's easier to just find another email provider. If possible, one that realizes email is a tool to perform a function and it's a waste of time to have to relearn something just because someone somewhere decided to fix something that wasn't broken.

    I am 70 years old, and the older I get, the more I dislike Microsoft. I feel that they have me hostage, the ability for me to simple task has become impossible. The copy from word to past in Outlook was wonderful. people don't wat to fill their documents space with many documents, especially older people.

    Sadly, I feel that my rights have been violated, the sad thing is no phone number to get a human being, or direct email. In closing
