Email reminder and follow up in New Outlook missing

Hi.

I am currently using 'New Outlook'. Previously I was able to set a reminder/follow up on the email either before or after sending as a reminder to do so.

Sadly I cannot find it. Has it been omitted?

This was a very important tool, please reinstate this incredibly useful and productive feature.

    Dear all

I have discovered a way of overcoming this issue.

Once you've sent the email, right click the email within your inbox and scroll to the bottom to 'advanced actions'. There you can 'create task'. This sets a basic task without any reminders etc.

Once done, the task is shown in the 'To Do' column on the right. There you can right click and set custom reminders etc for any given task.

    Hope this helps.

I really appreciate your suggestion. Thank you!

Ugh! I didn't notice that the Developers were gone before I switch back! Ditto! Bring back the developers that I use daily!

    Hi,

This method worked really well until I got to the point where I am not being notified/alerted at the scheduled time/date.

I am wondering how the alert should appear on my screen, if you are able to help any further please?

    Many thanks

    Peter

Yikes! I'm at the mercy of what my work does. But, I'm certainly going to make them all aware that this feature is goen (well, we can no longer manually set the day/time to be reminded to follow-up. MS would rather control it!) Everyone I work with uses this feature.
