Copy meetings from one calendar to another no longer supported

I'm using Outlook 365 on my Windows 11 PC, and the Outlook android app on my smartphone. On the PC, I have a work calendar, an association calendar, and a private one. The android app only has the private e-mail account and calendar (this is for security reasons). Until very recently, I have been able to copy meetings from the work and association calendars to the private one on my PC, so that they show up in my android Outlook app.

Microsoft has removed this functionality without warning. Outlook blocks copying meetings with “Copying meetings is not supported.” - Microsoft Support.

The workaround (involving editing the regsitry) works, but what is the long term solution?

Mine is pretty new I think. It was installed just last week. My version is 20240704010.14.

I wonder if there is a setting that turns it on and off?

I wonder what version of Outlook you have. I don't have the duplicate option in mine (Version 2407).
