Copy meetings from one calendar to another no longer supported

I'm using Outlook 365 on my Windows 11 PC, and the Outlook android app on my smartphone. On the PC, I have a work calendar, an association calendar, and a private one. The android app only has the private e-mail account and calendar (this is for security reasons). Until very recently, I have been able to copy meetings from the work and association calendars to the private one on my PC, so that they show up in my android Outlook app.

Microsoft has removed this functionality without warning. Outlook blocks copying meetings with “Copying meetings is not supported.” - Microsoft Support.

The workaround (involving editing the regsitry) works, but what is the long term solution?

    Gabriel Bratton, this is not buried earlier in thread, but adding it here again in case it helps:

    Your registry key idea does not work except for a tiny percentage of people.

    Your company, Microsoft, has been displaying immense disregard for us, your customers, who repeatedly have pleaded with them to just fix the problem in the first place. It's mind numbingly, stupefyingly tone deaf that no one from MS Management is getting this in their heads or has the integrity to show up in this forum and explain why they won't fix their own mistake that causes us inconvenience.

    Microsoft discovered that accidentally and contrary to their goal, users actually used a feature. So they removed it.

    Dave,

    It will depend how locked down it is. The regkey is in the User section of the registry. I would try setting the regkey and see if it works. If IT has it locked down the reg key may get removed later.
