I have been deleting unnecessary emails from my outlook client application, but recently observed that the emails are not being deleted from the server. My mailbox is 97% full and it is giving warning that I will not be able to send or receive emails once the mailbox is at 99%.
I am trying to delete emails, but they are keep coming back. I tried deleting emails in several ways, but the emails are not getting deleted.
Please help me in resolving this issue.

Same with me! They would just come right back! I finally got it fixed myself, and I’m not good with such things! I went to the Microsoft website to access my email. It wanted me to update my email password. I needed to change it anyway, as it was easy and reused on several places.

I cannot remove emails from my personal account. They disappear then come back immediately for the past 2 days.
Now I’m not receiving any NEW emails.

If you're experiencing this in your Oulook app on your tablet or phone, try resetting your account as I did.
Go to Settings, select Accounts, select the right email account, scroll down and select Reset account.
This doesn't change anything on your account and it doesn't remove anything, it just resets some settings.
Won't hurt but might solve it.
I've been "deleting" messages for 2024, and they are back on my list.
Why doesn't Outlook actually DELETE them?
