Why does Microsoft Outlook keeps constantly asking for Password. I even had to change my password thinking it would help. It didn't. Even after I enter password, still continues prompting me to enter password. Just does not go away. And it is also affecting my account with Spectrum Roadrunner to perform other functions that I was able to do without having to enter a password. This problem just recently started and Spectrum can't help since it's a Microsoft issue causing the problem. Tried to get help by calling Microsoft by using the recommended website since I'm unable to get a live person to talk to, but the website Microsoft is directing to go for HELP wants to charge a Fee plus a monthly fee. We purchased Microsoft. Didn't use to have this issue

Yeah! MS seems to have read your message, now I have the same problem with the old outlook too! What a bunch of amateurs.
This is a general problem. Pretty much anything that requires a MS login. I also have problems with Office 365 and To do; saw others complaining too. Saw someone complaining for Minecraft xD
Using the 2021 version also works fine without the subscription option. No issue with permanent password request. That one is called LTSC version.
With this you have the look and feel of outlook 2013-2019.
I have tried everything suggested to no avail. THE solution that continuously works (no longer plagues me with the password question) was to use the Outlook 365 app. I know, it's a copout, but since Microsoft Edge comes with Outlook 365 (Top Left 9 dots, app launcher menu for Microsoft 365), this supported Outlook, although not the same look and feel of the various Outlook versions (I was using 2013 which I liked and was ferociously attached to as I had it setup the way I wanted it since I was a mail administrator - retired in 2017), I had to learn to use it (365) in my old age. Sorry, although I have not uninstalled the 2013 version, I am now using 365 every day. Do I like it better? No. I still have a bitter taste when I use it. However, I can live without the constant demand for a password that does absolutely nothing. It seems that I can also live with the browser version of Outlook, go figure...

I did nothing but waited only some days, then it worked well. I think you have to use Multi-Authenticfication (Authentifictaor App) for this. Also, everything which is older then Outlook 2021 does not work properly. I think this was posted here somewhere. This is why I switched from 2016 to 2021. 2019 I think also does not work.
