Contacts Missing From "New" Outlook After Upgrade From Windows Mail

My contacts are gone. I upgraded to the "new" outlook a couple months ago and now realize I have no contacts. I tried looking for a CVS file but I found none. I tried reverting back to Outlook 2019 but still no contacts. Please note, I upgraded from Windows Mail. I never used Outlook 2019.

    I am through with Microsoft. I’m going to find another company that has all the same programs. To lose your entire contact list is is unforgivable and then I have to pay for it on top of that.

    I have been usiing the classic outlook for sometime now so when I switched to using new outlook I assume the contacts - people - would transfer. They do populate an email but when i click on contacts there are none

    Have had new outlook for awhile now. Have stored contacts as I go. Can't click contacts and open my contacts. This has not been the case. What gives. Think this happened once before.

    On 15 October I updated Outlook (where I could access Contacts by clicking on the icon in the sidebar), but in new Outlook the contact icon has disappeared and i cannot access my contact list. The only icons to appear are Mail, Calendar, OneDrive and More Apps. How can this be changed? I am happy to stay with the new Outlook but only if my Contact lists are available within Outlook without having to search every time.
