    Hi.

Finally, I have found the solution. The problem was with my (Samsung) mobile email client (and its local spam management settings). After tweaking with them, everything was solved. So my advice is to check, turn off (and uninstall if necessary) all (other) local clients syncing with your email account.

Hope this helps (at least somebody).

    R.

I CANNOT believe Microsoft will NOT fix this problem!!!!!!!!! Even my VA.GOV emails go into my spam folder even though I have REPEATEDLY instructed Outlook for years to never block this sender. click on Not Junk, click on Never Block Domain, etc.. I receive all my healthcare through the VA and I get health-related emails from the VA that I keep waiting for and finally find them in my Spam folder. That is not right, what will it take to get Microsoft to FIX THIS PROBLEM!!!!???

I use a Samsung and in the email app you'd tap the three lines at the top right. this opens up a menu but also at the top you'll see a settings gear... Tap on that. Then once you're in the email setting, there is a "Spam Addresses" option. open that and look for the email address you're having issues with.

I found a remedy. I found that my own email was on a "junk" list on my phone, and since I use IMAP it would send that same email, in all my devices, to the junk or spam folder. Once I corrected this on my phone, it was corrected everywhere.

This is actually the cause of the problem! Fix your junk mail list on your phone, that's where the fault is!

Thank you very much for figuring this one out!
