Sharing from Word to Outlook still opens the old Outlook and not the new one so the emails are not sending.

Have upgraded to the new Outlook.

I used to be able to easily share a word doc or pdf version as an attachment onto email.

It currently still loads up the old outlook when using this feature. i want it to open up the new outlook when using the share feature on word.

There should be a switch in the top right-hand corner of Classic Outlook that says "Try the new Outlook"

I had to try a few times but it now finally works. Log out of New Outlook, open Classic Outlook, do the switch to New Outlook again.

Hello, IdrisAW you may be experiencing this issue because the Old version of Outlook as not swapped over to the New Version.
1. Try opening the Classic Version
2. click the switch in the top right-hand corner to make it open as the New.
Once done attempt to share a Word document, it should open it up in the New Outlook now
