Install Copilot to outlook

Hello,

I have install copilot on my desktop but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to install this into my outlook ( I am signed in). I have this and it is not working either.

  1. Launch Outlook.
  2. Click on the File menu.
  3. Select Options near the bottom left.
  4. Under Compose messages, check the checkbox for Enable Microsoft 365 Copilot.
  5. If you can’t find the option, click the Editor Options button.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The settings you mention in your setup instructions do not appear in my setup menu to activate copilot in my outlook configuration. I'm running the most up to date version of Microsoft Office on my machine. Every update has been installed.

    these steps are meant for classic outlook, what about new outlook, i dont find File in menu

    All the advice provided above aren't accurate. One has to first subscribe to a Pro account before the service can function in Outlook. Is this that difficult for a moderator to say...?

    I thought the same thing! It must be "that hard" to speak specifically for the requirements. Microsoft doesn't make it clear and obvious to end users, and unless you are a good web-searcher, it can be difficult for a user to find and interpret the requirements.

    Open outlook desktop, or any other desktop version of the Office 365 application

    File

    Office Account / account (Bottom left)

    Click on Update License

    Once it updates after signing on, restart t

    he app.
