How do I directly report phishing or suspicous emails to Microsoft?

Microsoft Support provides the following information for reporting Phishing or suspicious behavior:

  1. In the message list, select the message or messages you want to report.
  2. Above the reading pane, select Junk > Phishing > Report to report the message sender. A screenshot of the Junk button in Outlook.com.

I do not show that on my Outlook page when I have a phishing mail to report. Is it something I need to load? All I have is to put the message in Junk.

    In the past few months I have received way too many emails auto generated stating that someone has tried to reset my password. The thing is that I have never generated these emails as I remember my password obviously and when I have to do a reset I follow the procedure from logged in.

    I suspect that someone is attempting to hack my account.

    I need you to try to locate the IP of where these requests are coming from please.

    Hello David,

    I am Adesoji, a consumer of Microsoft products like you and I am happy to help.

    If I understand you correctly, the report junk option is not showing in the outlook.com ribbon for you to report phishing or junk emails.

    Please check for the ‘delete group’ and you should find report there. Click on it and you will be able to perform the required actions. (see attachment)

    I just remembered that this activity may be linked to a stalker I had on Disqus nearly 3 years ago. It was an account in Germany which emailed me, threatened me, and claimed to have unfettered access to Disqus' user databases. I reported it to Disqus, but never received a response.
