I have been trying to fix Outlook for three days now. With the help of Earthlink, Geek Squad, etc. I am unable to send or receive emails through through my Outlook. Web mail is fine.

July 4 and the issue is still continuing. Outlook receives mail once or twice a day. Sending emails may not ever go out. Calendar invites are impacted also.
Does anyone have a good alternative to Outlook for email and calendar? I have Thunderbird, however the user interface is poor and the calendar invites do not appear to work.
I have been trying to fix Outlook for three days now. With the help of Earthlink, Geek Squad, etc. I am unable to send or receive emails through through my Outlook.
I'm happy to try, if you don't mind me being 74 years old. What exactly is happening? Any error messages or the like?
Is it possible to speak someone who can help an old lady resolve her problems with sending and receiving. email via Outlook after changing her password on Microsoft.

Which is precisely why I asked what version of Outlook is in use, it makes a difference. The device, PC, Mac, iOS, Android, makes a difference. The type of account, POP, IMAP, Outlook.com/Hotmail/Live mail, or exchange server makes a difference as does the provider of the email account (the part of an email address after the @ sign), Sadly all that esoteric, boring stuff makes a difference. Can you help out with some of these details, please? Thanks!!
