Hyperlink not showing up in New Outlook

In the new Outlook, options for external images can be found at Settings > General > Privacy and data. There is also a button labeled Privacy settings; click it to see more options.

The option for previewing hyperlinks is at Settings > Mail > Compose and reply.

P.S. Other options for linking may be present depending on your version of Outlook and also depending on your type of subscription. My reply here has assumed that this is about hyperlinks in general found in e-mails.

This is the solution that worked for me in the new outlook. Go to View -> Settings -> Mail -> Compose and reply -> Link Style. Here turn on "As a link" instead of "As a loop attachment".

Now hyperlinks are working correctly.

What a garbage half baked product this is.

Hyperlinks work fine on old outlook but not new. None of these suggestions work.

I have reported many issues and its as if no one at Microsoft actully uses their product.

My new computer I started with the "new" and had to install "classic" due to the ongoing shortfalls.

Hopefully all this **** is fixed by this time

Found this and this is the problem.

Proof: If I forward a recieved email where the hyperlink only shows as text and hit space after the link it becomes a hyperlink!

If the person who sent it didnt miraculously know to hit space after entering a link its just text.

This is only a problem in the "new" outlook not classic or any other email program.

Your solution doesn't work for me.... When I go to Privacy and Data, my screen looks different from yours. I don't have external image section....

And my hyperlink for 1 email was working but then it quickly turned into the link that is not clickable again.... this is very annoying.

Tried everything on this thread so far. Nothing works. Hyperlinks are still just static text.
