Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
I do not get a "view settings" option when I right click on a column header... are you sure you are using the New Outlook?

I just tried the NEW outlook.
I can sort by names A-Z, but then I have to scroll to find the person.
The old outlook, I could just type the first letter and it would jump to that name.
Is there a setting in the new outlook that allows you to jump to the letter when typed?

Hi Shelley. Did you try Jesse Hart's instruction? In which he posted that on your Outlook, right click on any header, select "View Settings," then select "Other Settings". Next, check the box for "Use compact layout in widths smaller than... characters."
Thank you, this worked!!
Has there been any progress with this issue. It is so frustrating not having the ability to jump to the letter for email!!! So inefficient!
I agree! please return these two functions!!
