Hi, is there a function in the outlook to "reply" to the message with attachment included? Not asking about copy paste, or drag in or forward. Simple reply with attachment.

Many thanks

Robert

Honestly that's ridiculous. Why does the attachment automatically attach to a forward but not a reply. It seems pretty basic and when you've got this many people requesting it, it should be something Microsoft should rectify.

Very poor from Microsoft you if ask me.

    Aloha Katerina,

I remember using this feature before. Why was it taken out?

Been waiting for outlook to give this option for a number of years now. The time wasted dragging attachments over and the time wasted from looking for attachments that are not attached due to coworkers not reattaching in an approval is aggravating.

The forward option isn't a great work around due to the original contacts not being included in the forwarded email, you have to re-enter them.

Please create a check box in the options that allows a reply message to contain attachments from the previous email. This is different from the check box that attaches the entire previous email which needs to be clicked open in order to view the previous attachments. This would be greatly appreciated by THOUSANDS, if not MILLIONS of Outlook users.

I couldn't agree more. We send attachments constantly and to not have the CHOICE to always have the attachment stay with the email is, for me, infuriating. Enough so, that I am taking time out of my day looking up this issue and commenting in hopes that Microsoft will provide more customization. Please!

    Hi Isabelle

There is a outlook add-in called "Reply with attachement".

You can use this add-in to include original message attachment(s) while doing reply/reply to all without doing save/attache or copy/paste or drag/drop.

    Regards
    Sudhanshu
