Why is Hotmail Spam Filtering So Bad???

This is the WORST spam filtering of any of my email programs.

I am constantly getting junk in my inbox and important emails are sent to spam.

Even my upcoming vacation flight emails from delta airlines and other businesses. This is causing havoc and stress I don't need!

What are my options? Increase spam filtering and send more important emails to junk?

Lessen spam filtering and get more junk in my inbox????

    There is a solution. Change to Proton Mail.

    I agree totally. I do have a Gmail account but this Hotmail/outlook One has been my primary for decades. They can definitely do better.

    this keeps going on infinitum , people keep assuming that Microsoft wants to figure it out. Its a free program they use to push adds to people. Google has other reasons because they don't need the money, they just want to spy on peoples' email and give it to the government in exchange for no oversight over what they do.

    No solution. Case closed.

    Same here I have gmail and don’t have any issues with spam, with Outlook I constantly have to report junk and it never gets better. If Google can figure it out then Microsoft should be able to.

    do yourself a favor.

    take the offending email. copy their address

    forward the spam back

    it is automated. mostly. So it feeds back onto itself when spamming.... itself. Because it recognizes it as an active email address.

    or switch to gmail. because outlook/hotmail has not been relevant for over a decade
