Very recently, don't know the exact date, when replying to an email, addressed to me or I'm cc'd, Outlook shows the "from" field (with my email address, no other account).
I have one email account, I cannot find a solution to stop this from appearing, it doesn't impact anything, just it never used to show it, now it does.
It doesn't appear if I create a new email (wouldn't expect it to, as I only have one account), It also doesn't appear If I reply to an email that doesn't name me but am part of a mail group.
Anyone else have this "issue", a workaround or is there a fix?

I'm assuming we're still talking about:
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Preference\ShowFrom
If so, I tried it again with no change. I suspect the reason why it's not working for some of us has to do with aliases. When I click on the ever-present From box and choose Manage List, there's the one address I want checked and greyed-out. Under that are 4 aliases I never use, unchecked. Something about that must be triggering the visibility of the field, something that changed last year.
Just keeping this alive and wanting to receive the updates when it is fixed(Wishful thinking, I know...). I also have this issue, as well as many co-workers. Some do not have multiple accounts/alias', some do. All have the same issue, and the suggested "fixes" from Microsoft do not work. Pretty frustrating.
Just woke up today to this problem, very annoying.
Tried everything described here and on other threads, but the issue persists.
Strange that this thread was opened some time ago, and there is still no solution.
Does anyone work on supporting customers, or Microsoft only chases AI unicorns now?

Does anyone know if this ever got resolved? I didn't change anything in MS or Outlook either, and all of a sudden, every Reply email shows the "From" field. It's annoying to go to Options & turn it off every time. How is there not a simple solution to this?
