Group emails have stopped sending

I have had a hotmail account for years , 2 years ago I created a 2nd hotmail account to use for my choir. Within this I made a group so that I could email all 34 members in one go.

This has worked fine until Friday when they are sending and come back saying “the recipients email system isn’t accepting messages now. Please try resending your message later or contact the receipient direct” further down it shows Remote server returned 421 4.3.2 Service not available.

I have tried sending from the choir email and my own and it doesn’t work. I can send emails to individual members and get replies and if I put all members in individually it will send to all 34 at once .Have tried deleting group and making a new one and it still won’t go……any ideas please

User Impact: Users may be unable to send email to Outlook.com groups.

More info: Users that encounter this problem receive an error stating there was a delivery failure to the recipient.

Current status: We're reviewing available service telemetry and user-provided data to assess the cause of this problem and how we'll resolve it.

    You can set up your own personal group contact list in Outlook with the email addresses of all your recipients that are in your "Microsoft Group Email" However, only you will be able to use your group Contact List as it is your personal list and not a "Microsoft Group Email."

    I have done this as a temporary measure and it works perfectly well. You can address the email to yourself and put your personal group contact list name under BCC to hide the email addresses of the recipients if you don't want them to be displayed.

    A couple of people who would normally use our "Microsoft Group Email" have been sending me the email that they want to distribute to the group and I send it to my personal group contact list for them.

    Hope this helps as a temporary measure.

    Having the same issue .. no group emails going out for past week .

    I also tried creating a new group.

    But to no avail .

    Most inconvenient for people who have group clubs with members ..!

    The service status says they’ll update us again on July 5. Glad to know they’re putting their feet up and relaxing over the holiday weekend. One would think a global company could keep resources on this problem around the clock.
