What happened to daily calendar view on new Outlook?

I started using the new Outlook yesterday and it mirrored my current Outlook which was great. My current Outlook, in order from left to right, has my folders, inbox, reading pane, and daily calendar on the far right. Now this morning the daily calendar on the far right is missing. I have been all over the app and cannot locate where I have the option to add it back to the view. I see where I can modify the reading panes but that is it. Help?

this only creates a pop-out panel with the calendar that covers a portion of the preview pane and there does not appear to be a way to "pin" the calender as in the past. thanks.

I think you might be looking for this toggle at the top of the NEW Outlook client window. You need to have this selected to show the calendar Agenda pane in the email window view (like Dock the Peek).

That works, but covers up the preview pane. I want to be able to read the preview pane AND have the calendar showing all the time.
